Oscar is always asking me if he can paint with me. We bought this table at the thrift shop for five buckaroos and Oscar helped sand and paint. He kept saying,"I need to get to work mom."
With our charlie brown tree and no other decorations but a few home made pipe cleaner ornaments, we had a good time. Jimmy, Oscar, Franki and I went to the Kay's christmas eve party. It was an white elephant gift exchange-Hillarious. Oscar brought home some poker chips as his white elephant gift. A couple of cranberry and vodkas and the night was a hit. hee.hee.
It doesn't take much to make Oscar and Franki happy-one christmas gift each would have been fine , they had more than enough. Oscar loves his construction kit JImmy gave him for Christmas. For about five or six mornings after Christmas, Oscar would say to me, "Mom, It's christmas morning again!"(Where are some more gifts?, right?)
We made it to Seattle with the help of a lot of loved ones. The transition has been easier being that Jimmy is here and is a great support. Oscar and Franki love the beach-Throwing rocks and finding fish washed ashore is a favorite pastime of theirs.
Looking at these pics of the snow makes me miss Madison-I know that sounds crazy to all of you in Madison(being that we are here in Seattle). Oscar wants to go sledding-since we have no snow he tried sledding down the front stairs outside-He's a little daredevil.
hey...thanks for stopping to take a look at Fransar! The jist of this blog is to show friends/family and loyal customers the before and after pics of projects. I love making junk into something functional that we can use in every day life. Each piece has a fun story behind it.
Thanks to all of the loved ones who bring me junk goodies from time to time...I'm blessed to have a beautiful circle of friends and family who have helped me with my business.
